In the print version of the journal, we featured a very informative piece about the development of the pilot program Impact21 where students with Down syndrome are able to enrol in a course through Torrens University, learning job specific skills that will will guarantee them a job placement with one of five participating organisations on the program – Sodexo, Dulux, Deakin University, JB Hi Fi, and Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Three students spoke at the event. You can read their speeches here.
