May 2015 took us out into the regional and remote areas of Australia to meet members living in all corners of this big country.
Articles include a feature on the family camp run by Down Syndrome Victoria and growing up on a farm in regional South Australia. Contributors to this issue said that while access to services can be a problem, the close-knit community values of small country towns have often been a huge advantage for people living remotely.
A key example of this being the wonderful story of Peter Keath who has purchased his own home…in his own name thanks to the support of his family and his local community.
